Bad Company was founded in 1973 by Paul Rodgers and Mick Ralphs in Westminster, London. The original line-up consisted of Paul Rodgers as the singer, Mike Ralphs on guitars, Boz Burrell on bass, and Simon Kirke on drums. The band was managed by Peter Grant who also managed another famous rock band Led Zeppelin.
Bad Company had a great run in the 70s with three successful album releases. Their debut self titled album in 1974, Bad Company was an instant hit with the album featuring in the top five list of the US and UK album charts. Their third album, Run with the Pack was released in 1976, which was a hit both in the US and the UK holding number five and four positions on the album charts. Their other notable albums include Burnin’ Sky, Desolation Angels, which featured their best selling song “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy” and Rough diamonds in 1982.
