Bad Company was founded in 1973 by Paul Rodgers and Mick Ralphs in Westminster, London. The original line-up consisted of Paul Rodgers as the singer, Mike Ralphs on guitars, Boz Burrell on bass, and Simon Kirke on drums. Their debut self titled album in 1974, Bad Company was an instant hit with the album featuring in the top five list of the US and UK album charts. Bad Company released its second album, Straight Shooter in 1975. “Good Lovin’ Gone Bad” was a hit single on this album. “Feel Like Makin’ Love” was another hit from the LP Straight Shooter, which was featured in the list of the “Best hard rock song of all time” by VH1 and ranked 78^th on the list.

Their third album, Run with the Pack was released in 1976, which was a hit both in the US and the UK holding number five and four positions on the album charts. Their other notable albums include Burnin’ Sky, Desolation Angels, which featured their best selling song “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy” and Rough diamonds in 1982.
