Mary Poppins is produced by Disney Theatrical and Cameron Mackintosh. The show was under the direction of Richard Eyre in collaboration with Matthew Bourne, who also served as co-choreographer and Stephen Mear.
The original West End production made its first openings in December 2004, winning two Olivier Awards under the category of Best Theatre Choreography and Best Actress in a Musical. The show opened on Broadway in November 2006, with only little changes made from the version of West End.
