Ozzy Osbourne started his career in music in 1968 by being the lead vocal of the band Black Sabbath. The band was at first named Earth, and it started out as a 12-bar blues and jazz band. The band has a dark and mundane style, even at the beginning. As the band grew more popular, they changed from Earth to Black Sabbath, giving birth to the genre that we now call Heavy Metal. The members of the band include Ozzy Osbourne on the vocals, Tony Iommi on the guitar, Butler on the bass and Bill Ward on the drums. Together, they released revolutionary albums from the early 70s to the late 70s. The albums contain singles such as 'Into the Void,' 'Iron Man' and 'Paranoid,' which the singer still performs.
